Play Format

  • Head to Head: 1–4 individual players compete. Play order is randomized at game start.
  • Teams: Two teams of 2 players. Each player throws 2 axes per turn for a combined team score.

Entering Scores

For Traditional mode, enter each player's turn score and tap NEXT ROUND to advance. For High Score mode, fill in each round's score directly in the table. Tap FINISH GAME when done.

Ties

If players tie at 21 or higher in Traditional mode, or tie on total points in High Score mode, a Sudden Death round with one throw each decides the winner.

Rules & How to Play

Scoring Zones

  • Blue (outermost ring) — 1 point
  • White — 2 points
  • Red — 3 points
  • Yellow (bullseye) — 4 points
  • Miss (doesn't stick) — 0 points

If a throw lands on the border of two zones, award the higher point value.

Traditional — First to 21

  • Players take turns throwing 4 axes each (2 each for Teams).
  • After all throws, enter the total score for that turn — max 16 points (4 throws × 4 pts).
  • First player or team to reach or exceed 21 points wins.
  • If multiple players hit 21+ in the same round, the highest score wins.
  • If still tied, play Sudden Death — one throw each, highest score wins. Repeat until broken.

High Score — 3 Rounds

  • Each player or team throws 4 axes per round across 3 rounds.
  • Enter the score for each round — max 16 per round.
  • Highest total score after all 3 rounds wins.
  • Ties are broken with a Sudden Death round.

Safety

  • Always throw from behind the designated throwing line.
  • Never approach the target until all throwers have released their axes and the area is clear.
  • Only retrieve axes when instructed by staff.
