Yahtzee Scorecard

Getting Started

Scan the QR code or tap the NFC tag. This is a single-player scorecard — enter your scores as you play a physical game of Yahtzee.

Upper Section

Tap + or − to step your score in the correct increment for each die face (1s add/subtract 1, 2s by 2, etc.). The display updates live and shows your progress toward the 63-point bonus.

Lower Section — Text Inputs

3 of a Kind, 4 of a Kind, and Chance accept any number — type the sum of all dice. Leave blank if you didn't score that category.

Lower Section — Tap Rows

Full House, Sm. Straight, Lg. Straight, and YAHTZEE! cycle through three states with each tap:

1. First tap — Scored (purple checkmark, points awarded)
2. Second tap — Scratched (red ✕, zero points)
3. Third tap — Cleared (back to unscored)

Bonus Yahtzees

Tap the dots sequentially to record bonus Yahtzees (+100 each). Tap a filled dot to remove it.

Finishing

Tap Finish Game to see your final score with a full breakdown. Tap Play Again to reset all scores.

Object

Score the most points by rolling five dice and filling in categories on your scorecard. Each category can only be used once per game.

How to Play

1. Roll all five dice. You have up to three rolls per turn.
2. After each roll, set aside any dice you want to keep.
3. After your final roll, choose a category to score. You must fill in a category every turn, even if it's a zero.

Upper Section

• Ones through Sixes: Sum of all dice showing that number.
• Upper Bonus: Score 63+ in the upper section to earn +35 bonus points.

Lower Section

• 3 of a Kind: Three dice the same — sum of all five dice.
• 4 of a Kind: Four dice the same — sum of all five dice.
• Full House: Three of one number + two of another — 25 points.
• Sm. Straight: Four sequential dice (e.g. 1-2-3-4) — 30 points.
• Lg. Straight: Five sequential dice (e.g. 1-2-3-4-5) — 40 points.
• YAHTZEE!: All five dice the same — 50 points.
• Chance: Any combination — sum of all five dice.

Bonus Yahtzees

If you roll a Yahtzee after already scoring 50 in the Yahtzee category, each additional Yahtzee earns +100 bonus points. It also acts as a joker — you may use it in any open category.

Winning

After all 13 categories are filled, total your points including the upper bonus and any Yahtzee bonuses. The highest grand total wins.
